Chicago Studio City is the biggest filming complex between coasts. A 100,000 sq. ft. facility that currently offers 3-sound stages, a 15,000 sq. ft. shop also used as a stage, carpentry and paint shops, a commissary, 12,000 sq. ft. of rental office space and an acre of parking space.
We are very excited about our upcoming projects in 2011 and 2012. We will be producing 2 of our own projects. In addition, we will be adding 48 additional offices, a stage 4 (167’ x 150’ x 35’), a 12,000 sq. ft. building on 2 acres of land, back lot storage units and much more. On the following pages you’ll find detailed information on our facility.
Chicago Studio City can also meet your equipment needs. We offer a full inventory of lighting and grip equipment, expendables, generators, honey wagons, booms and scissor lifts, trusses and more.
In addition to the changes we have in the works, the State of Illinois has passed the Illinois Film Production Services Tax Credit. This will enable a production company to receive a 30% tax credit for filming in our very versatile state. For your convenience, I have included a copy of this incentive in this packet.
